After our FEFC inspection in January 2001, the College was awarded a Grade 1 for its Management. In addition the School of Visual and Performing Arts was judged a Grade 1 for outstanding provision for Media, Art and Design and Performing Arts. Inspectors particularly identified our success in Managing Equal Opportunities as a key strength. They stated that: 'aspects of its strategy are exemplary'.

This web site has been developed by staff and students of the School of Visual and Performing Arts. It is funded by the Standards Fund that is administered by the Learning and Skills Council. The Fund supports colleges in disseminating good practice.

The web site gives you access to a wide range of material we have developed to deliver our strategy. We don't claim that our solutions will necessarily work for you. Our aim is to share our experience of success to enable you to develop your own strategy for equal opportunities.
